shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was shot multiple times in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood late Wednesday night, a police spokesman said.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at Third Street and Newcomb Avenue at around 11:15 p.m., police Officer Albie Esparza said.

Officers found a man in his mid 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was taken to a hospital and his condition was unknown as of midnight, Esparza said.

No suspect descriptions were immediately available and no arrests have been made.

A white vehicle was possibly seen fleeing the scene, according to Esparza.
