Cinco De Mayo
On Saturday at 10 a.m. the Cinco De Mayo celebration will take place at Dolores Park.
There will be heavy traffic in the area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.
Sunday Streets – Mission District
The third of nine Sunday Streets events will be held this Sunday in the Mission District. Sunday’s event is a three-mile route and includes street closures on portions of 24th Street, Valencia Street and various adjacent streets from 25th and Duboce Avenue. The route will be available for recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to all participants.
The following street closures will be required from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
· 24th Street between Potrero Street and San Jose Avenue
· Valencia Street between 25th and Duboce Street
Cross traffic will be allowed at:
· Mission Street, South Van Ness Avenue, Folsom, Harrison and Bryant, streets at 24th Street
· 22nd, 20th, 18th, 16th and 14th (one-way eastbound) streets at Valencia Street
The following Muni lines and routes will be affected:
· 9 San Bruno
· 10 Townsend
· 12 Folsom
· 14 and 14L Mission
· 22 Fillmore
· 27 Bryant
· 33 Stanyan
· 48 Quintara/24th Street
· 49 Van Ness/Mission
· 67 Bernal Heights
