ccsf.jpgGov. Jerry Brown has appointed a member of the City College of San Francisco board of trustees to the state Community College Board of Governors, Brown’s office announced Friday.

Natalie Berg, 75, was elected to the board of trustees in 1997 after a 30-year career with City College, the governor’s office said.

She retired as dean of the school of health on the John Adams Campus.

In addition to her work with the board of trustees, Berg is currently a member of the Bay Care Council and president of Jewish Vocational Services.

She will receive $100 per diem for her new position on the board of governors if the state Senate approves the appointment.
