5/8 10:34 AM: A 14-year-old San Francisco girl who ran away from her Noe Valley home sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning returned home safe late Friday night, police said.
The parents of Emma Peacock awoke at 6 a.m. Friday and realized that their daughter was not at home, police said.
The couple was concerned because Emma had never run away before, police said.
She returned home safe Friday night. Police declined to provide additional information about the case.
5/7 7:40 PM: San Francisco police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl who ran away from her Noe Valley home sometime between Thursday and this morning.
The parents of Emma Peacock awoke at 6 a.m. today and realized that their daughter was not at home, police said. Her parents are concerned because they told police that Emma has never run away and that this is unusual behavior for her.
Emma is a white girl who is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She may possibly be wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Anyone who sees the girl or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact the San Francisco police missing persons unit at (415) 558-5508.
