sfpd_squad.jpgA man was stabbed in the arm in San Francisco’s Financial District early this morning, police said.

The stabbing was reported at about 12:50 a.m. near the intersection of Sutter and Kearny streets.

The 34-year-old victim was approached by a suspect who pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the arm, according to police.

The suspect then got into a white or gray sedan driven by another person, and the pair fled, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive.

No detailed description was immediately available for the two suspects, who are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.
