policeblotter_sfa.jpgPolice are seeking two men who choked a 69-year-old woman and stole cash from her during a home invasion robbery in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Monday morning, police said.

The robbery happened at about 8:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1000 block of Hollister Avenue.

Two suspects kicked in the door to the garage, then broke in the door to the victim’s bedroom, according to police.

One of the suspects put one of his hands over the woman’s mouth and the other on her throat to choke her, and demanded to know where money was in the home, police said.

The woman told them, and the suspects took the cash and ran out of the home. They had not been found as of this morning, according to police.

The woman was uninjured in the robbery. Two other people in the home, a 43-year-old woman and 4-year-old boy, were also not hurt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
