silent-knight.jpgFinally, a happy story for two blind sea lions: after a search for a place to live, they’ve found a home. The Ex reports that the SF Zoo has confirmed that Silent Knight and Henry are moving to the zoo’s newly-renovated sea lion pool.

One of the sea lions, Silent Knight, was found in Sausalito, blinded after being shot in the face. The other, named Henry, was taken from Crescent City, found nearly starved due to his blindness.

Rumors that they’d be moving to the SF Zoo had been circulating since February, but concerns remained the Zoo didn’t have adequate facilities to handle the pair.

But those facilities have since been rehabbed, and visitors to the Zoo can see the sea lions in their newly-remodeled pool near the South American Tropical Forest starting in May.
