sfpd_squad.jpgA man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was beaten and kicked during a fight with another man in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood on Sunday evening, police said.

The fight was reported at about 7:10 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Prentiss Street.

A verbal altercation between two men, ages 59 and 32, turned physical and the 59-year-old man was punched and kicked until he blacked out, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and the suspect was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, according to police.
