pg&e_blackout(2).jpgCrews have repaired a broken fuse that left over 90 PG&E customers in San Francisco’s Sunset District in the dark Saturday night, a spokeswoman said.

At about 7:25 p.m. on Saturday, a fuse failed near Lincoln Way and Eighth Avenue, causing 94 customers to lose power, PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said.

“The fuse had reached the end of its useful life and needed to be replaced,” Morris said.

Power was restored at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, she said.

The broken equipment impacted service for customers on Lincoln Way
from Eighth to 17th Avenues, and on Ninth Avenue from Judah Street to Lincoln Way, Morris said.
