sfpd_squad.jpgA masked man carrying a gun and umbrella robbed a business in San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood on Thursday night, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday at a business in the 400 block of Silver Avenue, according to police.

The suspect, described only as a man in his 20s, entered the business wearing a mask and carrying an umbrella. He pointed a black handgun at an employee and demanded cash from the store register, police said.

The suspect forced the employee, a 19-year-old man, to kneel on the ground and pointed a gun at the victim’s head, according to police.

The suspect then took the money and the victim’s driver’s license, and fled from the business, police said.

He had not been arrested as of this morning.

The victim was uninjured in the robbery, according to police.
