t1storm.jpgRain’s expected all week long, and that can mean flooding and even power outages. DPW reminds you to sweep up leaves (remember to compost!) and debris so storm drains won’t get clogged, and to check trees in your area for loose limbs that could fall off in a storm, damaging property and injuring people.

If you see clogged drains or threatening limbs, call 311 to report them. You can also get up to 10 free sandbags from the Department of Public Works’ Operations Yard (2323 Cesar Chavez Street, enter at Marin Gate), bring proof that you live in SF.

Friday: There’s a 90% chance of rain, with a high near 54. That night there’s a 100% chance of rain, and temps should drop to 52 as the wind picks up to as much as 34 mph.

Saturday: More wind and rain all day and all night. Highs in the mid-50s. Everyone I know is having their Holiday party tonight, so this is seriously frustrating re. cute shoe options. Oh, look, I’m Carrie Bradshaw!

Sunday: Chance of rain drops to 70%, is a failing grade but still a good reason to bring an umbrella if you leave home.
