200 Yards
Stop by Mission bar Dirty Thieves (3050 24th St) to see over 12 local artists’ work with one important restriction: photographs could only be taken up to 200 yards from the gallery’s location. Talk about a new twist on the “hyper-local” trend. Part of the 200 Yards project, exhibiting until December 10th when a new venue and artists will be chosen.

5ยข Beer Day
Thank Appeal pal Fun Cheap SF for this Sunday Funday tip: to honor the 77th anniversary of the repeal of prohibition, the 21st Amendment Brewery (563 2nd St, in SoMa) will be tapping a special cask for Prohibition prices. The only caveat is that you need to know the password, which will appear in the bar’s twitter feed. Speakeasy festivities start at 4pm.
