bart_generic1.jpgSeveral BART trains are experiencing 10 to 15 minute delays because of police activity in San Francisco’s Mission District this evening, a dispatcher said.

The delays are on trains to Daly City and San Francisco International Airport and began because of a police-involved incident at Mission and 24th streets, the dispatcher said.

A police spokesperson was not immediately available to comment about the incident.

The incident is no longer affecting BART’s station at Mission and 24th streets, and trains should return to normal schedule shortly, the dispatcher said.
