shooting_nighttime.jpgA San Francisco man suffered life-threatening injuries from being shot multiple times in the city’s Ingleside Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood Thursday night, police said.

Officers responded to an 8:10 p.m. report of a shooting at Middle Point and West Point roads and found a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, San Francisco police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.

The victim was conscious when police found him and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries. His condition was unavailable as of 10:30 a.m. today.

No other information was immediately available because the victim was “uncooperative,” Dangerfield said.

“He refused to talk to officers,” he said. “That’s not uncommon because he suffered from a traumatic incident.”
