A statewide amber alert was issued for a 13-year-old girl who was abducted from San Bernadino County early Sunday morning, according to the California Emergency Management Agency.

Miranda Hemphill was abducted from her Victorville home at approximately 2 a.m. by a 22-year-old man who her father says befriended her over the internet.

The San Bernadino Sheriff’s Department issued the alert today at 1:27 a.m., just hours after her father made an online plea for his daughter to come home.

In that YouTube video–one that the sheriff’s department said contains accurate information–Hemphill’s father speaks to the camera in front of a picture of Miranda.

“You are amazing, you are everything to us,” her father says in the video. “Please, just turn around and come home. My little hummingbird, please, I love you.”

Hemphill is described as standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The suspect, Ivan Lopez, is a Hispanic male standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Lopez is possibly driving a primer grey and white Chevrolet van with a California license plate of 2CIW894.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at (866) 346-7632.
