transbaylastdays.jpgThe Transbay Joint Powers Authority is holding two community meetings Wednesday in San Francisco to provide updates to the public on the status of efforts to demolish the existing bus ramps and Transbay Terminal.

The meetings, scheduled for noon and 6 p.m. at the authority’s headquarters at 201 Mission St., are designed to keep the community informed on the demolition efforts, which began on Aug. 14 with the removal of the ramps over Howard Street and Beale Street.

The meeting will include information about upcoming demolition activities, planned street closures, and hours of activity.

Construction of the new $4.2 billion Transit Center is scheduled to be completed in 2017. More information on the project is available at here.
