the-drizzle2.jpgIf you see people wearing the whole t-shirts, shorts, and sandals combo this weekend, they’re probably tourists. It’s August, but the June/July gloom still seems to be sticking around. In fact, the fog-cloud-wind-rain meter may have even gone up a notch.

Friday: When I walked outside to get coffee this morning, I saw someone bundled up in a winter scarf and crouched under an umbrella. For a moment, I wasn’t sure if it was still summer or if my mind had just been incepted. But, being in the Outer Sunset, I concluded that this must be real. The heavy morning fog with slight drizzling was indeed so real, I could still feel the dampness on my head. The afternoon, however, should clear up to mostly sunny skies with a high of 62 downtown and 55 near the coast. Tonight will bring back some drizzle and wind gust are up to 34 mph in the Marina.

Saturday: The morning will be cloudy with a chance of drizzle again. Gradual clearing will bring in some sun around mid day. Those near the Panhandle will experience the low 60s, while those in the Mission can look for the mid 60s.

Sunday: What? No sun for Sunday? The forecast is that today will remain partly cloudy all day. The fog, clouds, and drizzles will be tag teaming against the sun from morning to afternoon. Downtown can expect a high near 60 degrees and the Richmond a high of 57. The trusted ally, wind, never fails to show up as well. Wind gust may be up to 18 mph.
