3:00 AM: A man was approached from behind by another man at a bus stop on 18th and Mission. The suspect reportedly grabbed his neck, pulled off his gold chain, and demanded the victims property. The victim gave him his things and the suspect fled by foot. No arrests

1:35 PM: A woman on the 1100 block of Turk Street kicked out a man who had been staying with her for 6 months after an argument. While the man was packing, the woman left her house but received a call from her neighbor that her house was on fire. The man, now an arson suspect, fled the scene. No arrests.

6:30 PM – 7:40 PM: A man and a woman were watching television in the front of their apartment on the 500 block of John Muir Dr. when a suspect allegedly opened an unlocked sliding door in the back bedroom. The suspect reportedly stole wallets from each of the bedrooms, but nothing else. The victims never saw or heard the suspect. No arrests have been made.

9:45 PM:A woman allegedly gives the key to a man’s apartment on the 600 block of Ellis St. to another man, with instructions to kill the man who lives there. The suspect entered the apartment to find the man holding a knife. They get into a fight and the suspect take the knife from the victim and stabs him. The victim fled to the front door clerk for help. The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and both the male and female suspects were taken into custody.

Wednesday, August 11th

1:50 AM: A man walking at 14th and Stevenson was knocked to the ground from behind by four young men. The four suspects reportedly robbed the victim, kicked him while down, and fled north to rob another man minutes later (see below). The victim sustained minor injuries but refused to go to the hospital.

1:55 AM: A man walking on the 300 block of Valencia was reportedly surrounded by the four male suspects who demanded his wallet and cell phone. He turned over the property and the suspects fled on foot. They were caught by Mission police on the 100 block of Guerrero shortly after. An investigation is ongoing with suspect details to come.

2:30 AM: A man sitting on the front step of his residence on the 1800 block of Sunnydale was talking on his cellphone when a man approached him with a gun. He demanded his cell phone, the victim complied, and the suspect fled west on Sunnydale. No arrests.
