BART police made two arrests at the Lake Merritt station after an altercation on the BART platform, a BART spokesman said.
The police activity caused 15 to 20 minute delays on two trains running from the Lake Merritt station to the Richmond station, BART spokesman Linton Johnson said.
The fight between two males began on a train bound for Dublin/Pleasanton at around 3 p.m. today, and then moved onto the BART platform at the Lake Merritt station, Johnson said.
Two suspects were arrested, booked and then released, he said.
