Kelly Clark, a fifth-grade teacher at Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy, will set off from her school this afternoon along with three other riders, for a more than six-week trip to raise awareness about cuts to public education and equity in schools.

The “We Ride 3,000” campaign is expected to arrive in Washington, D.C. on July 17.
