The Crazies – Red Vic
Timothy Olyphant fights crazy people in a small town.
Dirty Hands – The Roxie
I once lived with a hipster, so I’m familiar with David Choe. Like many things I wish I could forget but cannot turn my head from, David Choe is one of them. He’s like a shitty photo of a dead thing on the ground that blows up in a tiny circle of dumbasses, resulting in the dead thing and the shitty person feeling famous. Directed by his friend, Harry Kim.
Paper Man – Lumiere
Friendships, superheroes, Emma Stone, Jeff Daniels, Ryan Reynolds, writer’s block. Didn’t they stop making these types of Indies back in 2000?
MacGruber – Everywhere
Last weekend I spearheaded an overnight backpacking trip with 5 other people. I wore my flannel camping shirt, and was nicknamed MacGruber. I did not run into my mortal enemy like MacGruber does in the film; however, I did get to see some hot man-bods.
Mother and Child – Kabuki
Annette Bening, Naomi Watts and Kerry Washington battle adoptions and absent motherhood. Samuel L. Jackson & Jimmy Smits also star.
