On Friday, May 28 the next Alternative Bicycle Ride (Critical Mass) will occur. Riders plan to assemble at Justin Herman Plaza at 6 p.m. to conduct their monthly ride. Their route is unknown.

Annual Carnaval Parade and Festival
The annual Carnaval Festival will occur Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30 from 10 am to 6 pm. The festival will take place on Harrison St. from 16th to 22nd Sts and adjacent side streets.

The Carnaval Parade will take place on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsors expect more than 300,000 attendees over the 2 days.

Street Closures: The following streets will be closed to traffic for the festival from 10 p.m. Friday, May 28 until 2 a.m. Monday, May 31. Harrison: 16th to 22nd; Mariposa: Alabama to Harrison; 17th Street: Folsom to Alabama; 18th Street: Folsom to Alabama; 19th-23rd Sts: Treat to Alabama.

Parade Staging: Beginning at 5 a.m. on Bryant Street between 18th Street and Cesar Chavez and on 24th Street between Bryant and Harrison.

Parade Route:
From 24th and Harrison, via 24th Street, R-Mission Street, R-17th Street, L-South Van Ness, R-15th Street then disbands into the festival area.

12 Folsom 48 Quintara/24th Street 33 Stanyan

14 Mission 49 Van Ness/Mission 27 Bryant

67 Bernal Heights

SF Golden Gate Rugby Club
San Francisco Golden Gate Youth Rugby Club tournament will take place on Treasure Island Friday, May 29 at noon until Monday, May 31 at 6 p.m.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

108 Treasure Island

Memorial Day Muni Service and Parking Enforcement
Muni service will follow a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.

Parking meters will be enforced citywide on Memorial Day. Commuter tow away, residential parking permits and Monday-Friday street sweeping will not be enforced. Hazards are always subject to citation and towing.
