This Friday, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library presents the first ever Porchlight All Stars–an after-hours party and performance benefit for the library.

Hosted by Porchlight co-founders, Beth Lisick and Arline Klatte, the night will consist of retailer Wilkes Bashford, pop punk musician and author Frank Portman, BART driver and Porchlight veteran Kelly Beardlsey, amongst others, telling tales of the city according to the event’s theme of urban legends.

This benefit will raise money for San Francisco Public Library’s education programs. Who knew that storytelling and boozing could also help a great cause? Be sure to check this out!
