It’s ComplicatedCastro Theatre (Friday)
Meryl Streep, Chest Pussy McGee, and Steve Martin in a love triangle directed by Nancy Myers, who made Keanu, in a different movie, say these lines: “How great is it for you that I’m not intimidated by your brilliance”. I know Keanu, shhh, I know.

Gone with the WindCastro Theatre (Sunday)
Like them high maintenance bitches?

SF IndieFestThe Roxie (all weekend)
Do you wear flannel and a beard, or own a fancy house and need something cultural to do before your 8:30 dinner reservation? Then check these ones out. My picks would be: Artie from the Sopranos & adult Ralph Macchio in Rosencrantz & Guildenstein are Undead (Friday). On Saturday, My Movie Girl tells a story about failed love and equating your life to the movies, all set in San Francisco (too close for comfort!). On Sunday, a Japanese movie that would clearly creep me out, The Blood of Rebirth, is about layers of stuff, sad stuff, Middle Ages. Check here for the rest of the programming that might be to your liking.

From Paris With Love – Century 9, AMC Van Ness
From the director of Taken, who I’m still very very mad at for not driving that car onto the boat. John Travolta, wise-guy sportin a half-brazilian, and Jonathan Rhys-Meyer playing his normal assholey self in “action/buddy” mode. Okay, this could possibly be a guilty pleasure.

Dear John – AMC Van Ness, Kabuki, Century 9
I came across time for you, Sarah“. Oops, wrong love story.
