I’ve never liked beer, even in drunk desperation. Beer always seemed to take too long to work. Beer was something I sipped while waiting to get a martini. With one particularly friendly and red-faced group of guys, I found my new official answer.

“It’s a snuff film, actually. We’re going to kill you while we rape you.”

And with a delighted array of high-fives and “Awesome!” we turned on the camera…

Give me (or any of the many, many Bay Area beer writers) a call next time.
