Would you like to get your Hump Day drink on and help pay for the doctor bills of dogs in need, and win some raffle prizes?
Rocket Dog Rescue is hosting a fundraiser with bartenders you know from the blogosphere, rumored free vegan cupcakes, and giveaways this Wednesday at Elixir, which will donate $1 for every hefeweizen sold along with a portion of the tips from that evening.
Pouring the drinks are Sarah Han from Pawesome, my new favorite educational and cute-overload blog, Kevin Montgomery of the surprising new fav in the (imaginary!) blogger clique, Uptown Almanac (he probably knows how to mix up a drink or five), our own Eve Batey (were you one of the lucky ducks to partake in her deadly Sangria at the Holiday Party? I was, and PHEW!), and the very hot Paolo Lucchesi from Eater (seriously ladies!).
In the Maria Bello role Laura Beck, Rocket Dog’s VP and co-founding editor of the snarky-but-always-right Vegansaurus will be working the floor.
All these people are wild, fun, and just varied enough that you’ll be able to find someone with an attitude to your liking, so you should all show up for this good cause.
