U.S. marshals and San Francisco police have arrested one of San Francisco’s top 10 most wanted fugitives, the agencies reported today.
Steve Bahr, 54, was wanted for allegedly committing a rape in Mendocino County and for failing to register as a sex offender for the past four years, according to police spokeswoman Lt. Lyn Tomioka.
San Francisco had a $50,000 warrant for his arrest.
Bahr was arrested Wednesday at an apartment where he was staying at 1010 Bush St. in San Francisco, Tomioka said.
