Tomorrow, Save the Date(ing) will launch in San Francisco, hoping to attract the pretty people interested in premium beverages. The NY-based dating site vets its users, handpicking the best and the brightest from referrals and personal invitations. Sure, it may sound a smidge exclusive, but it certainly makes the dating pool more alluring for those on the inside.

With an event like Single Malts 101, Save the Date(ing) can count on piquing the interest of the San Franciscan gourmand/lush. Hell, that’s why I’m going: a Johnny Walker open bar and a tasting of over seven single-malt scotches. The way I see it is that I’m not desperate enough to schlep to a speed-dating event or some other contrived social meet-up, but I will gladly mingle where alcohol flows freely and where other whisky enthusiasts congregate.

There are still some spots left, but space is limited. RSVP with Missy@SaveTheDateing.com.
