11/12 9:09 AM: A tipster tells us that when he left the area last night around 6, that “the smell of gas and sewer” was very strong even indoors and

When I finally got outside, the sound was so loud and the smell so overpowering (of gas and stink) that I tried not to breathe until I quickly walked the 100 feet to my car. I could not tell where the odor or the noise was coming from at that time. When I drove…to the intersection of Paul Ave and Bayshore Blvd, I saw a PG&E crew just to the right (south), in front of the U-Haul business. The were apparently venting the lines or sewers w/ enormously loud equipment that was as loud as a jet aircraft engine on a tarmac.

This morning, he says

I tried to get on Bayshore Blvd from Cesar Chavez, but there was signage on Bayshore that the road was closed so I find yet another alternate. Now that I am at work, I no longer smell gas/stink in the area or in the building where I work.

Anyone else live/work in the area and have anything to say? Lines are open.
