The San Francisco medical examiner’s office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting in the city’s Bayview District on Halloween as 22-year-old Malik Fennedy.
The shooting occurred at about 7:50 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Griffith Street and Navy Road, according to police Sgt. Lyn Tomioka.
Fennedy, who lived in San Francisco, was killed.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, she said.
10/31 9:27 PM: San Francisco police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the city’s Bayview District tonight, a police sergeant said.
The shooting occurred at about 7:50 p.m. near the intersection of Griffith Street and Navy Road, according to police Sgt. Lyn Tomioka.
A male victim was killed in the shooting, Tomioka said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was immediately available, she said.
