Even those of us who don’t use the Bridge were inconvenienced this morning: Our own Beth Spotswood took the picture above on her commute (while stopped!) to the North Bay a little after 10 this morning. “Lombard to GGB sucks!” she texted us. How slow is it? Are you moving? I asked to which she responded “Barely. All stop and go.” Happily, she reports that things are “all better at Doyle Drive.”

logainne reports that “Bus from Alameda to West Oakland and then BART to Montgomery was really easy. I was looking forward to complaining!”

MJ Pilaro (whom we can only assume lives on Treasure Island) reports being “On the empty Bay Bridge right now.” Jealous!

For our part, we crossed the city from Sunset to Mission at around 10 today. The Octavia freeway on ramp and the area around Division and Van Ness were as clear as Labor Day weekend, so no complaints here. How were things for you?
