Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early this morning in San Francisco’s Richmond district, according to police.

Two men got in a physical fight at about 2:45 a.m. today at the corner of Geary Boulevard and 2nd Avenue, San Francisco police Sgt. Lyn Tomioka said. One man stabbed the other multiple times before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, and his injuries did not appear to be life threatening, Tomioka said.

No arrests were made, and the suspect is described as an Asian man in his 20s.
