The world’s largest electronic music festival, formerly known as LoveFest is getting a new harder to pronounce more embarrassing name, and that name is Lovevolution.
As if that weren’t bad enough, the truly unique experience of being topless in Civic Center will now cost you. District 5 supervisor, Ross Mirkarimi, is bringing a resolution to the Board of Supervisors that will allow organizers of the artist formerly known as LoveFest to charge $10 for admission making it sound like it was something they wanted to do all along, and it probably was.
While this news will almost certainly have many people wanting to say things like, “Where is the love,” the Black Eyed Peas have already asked that question many many times on their 2003 song by the same name, and if they couldn’t find the answer you probably can’t either.
