ARRESTS:

07/18/09 3:45 am 2300 block of 47th Avenue
Officers Robert Hamblen, Christopher Smith and Jarome Winesberry responded to a disturbance involving inebriates on the 2300 block of 47th avenue. One of the protagonists continually interrupted the officers and grabbed the arm of Officer Smith. Another suspect also assaulted the officers. Two suspects, who live in San Jose and on the 2300 block of 47th Avenue, were arrested for public drunkeness, assault and resisting arrest. Case #090730182

Officer Thomas Ly stopped a driver for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the 2500 block of 25th Street, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 2000 Nissan was towed. Case #090730502

07/18/09 11:25 am Judah and 46th Avenue
Officer Kevin O’Leary responded to the corner of 46th avenue and Judah due to neighborhood complaints of persons drinking alcohol in public and contributing to blight. The officer stopped a resident of the 3200 block of Noriega and cited her for drinking in public. Case #090730831

Officers Orit Samson, Kevin O’Leary and San Francisco State University Police officers responded on a report of a man striking a woman. The officers investigated and then arrested a resident of the 800 block of Hayes for assault. Case #090731685

07/18/09 5:00 pm 200 block of Winston
Officers Kamakama Alvaro and Benny Lew went to Nordstrom where a former employee, who had been arrested for felony crimes on the premises in the past and was in violation of a restraining order, was trespassing. The resident of the 200 block of Garces was cited for a misdemeanor charge. Case #090732207

07/18/09 11:30 pm Lincoln Way and 19th Avenue
Officers Kamakama Alvaro and Benny Lew stopped a vehicle for a turn violation. The driver, who lives in Walnut, California, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2001 Toyota was towed. Case #090732893

07/18/09 11:40 pm Santiago and 36th Avenue
Officers Richard Cibotti and Robert Hamblen responded to Santiago and 36th Avenue where a man falsely impersonating a security guard had stopped a woman and was attempting to take her property. The officers arrested the resident of the 1700 block of 10th avenue for robbery, assault and false imprisonment. Case #090733001
