4:19 pm Mission St. / Whittier St. Warrant Arrest
Officer Hurwitz and Officer Daggett contacted an individual with an open container of alcohol hiding behind a bus shelter. Officer Hurwitz and Officer Daggett learned that the individual had an outstanding arrest warrant from Southern California and took the subject into custody, case number 090728438.

10:16 pm Onondaga Ave. / Alemany Blvd. Unlicensed Driver
Officer Lozano was on patrol and saw a moving vehicle with a broken stop lamp. Officer Lozano effected a traffic enforcement stop and learned that the driver was unlicensed. The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed, case number 090729345.

Officer Coles responded to a call of a burglary from an apartment complex. The victim stated that she had secured her bicycle to the parking garage with a lock. When the victim returned, she found her bicycle and the lock missing, case number 090727010.

11:45 am 30th St. / Mission St. Theft from Vehicle
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a victim who returned to his parked car and found his cell phone, car stereo, and personal clothing had been stolen, case number 090727258.

1:30 pm 4900 block Mission St. Embezzlement
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a victim who had given his real estate agent $10,000.00 as a down payment for a property, but was unable to contact the agent since the transaction, case number 090727838.

2:17 pm 100 block Park St. Residential Burglary
Officer Smethurst and Officer Curry responded to a call of a possible burglary and met with the witness. The witness stated that she had heard loud noises coming from the front of her apartment and looked outside to see two unknown males loitering in the driveway to the garage. The next morning, the witness found the garage door was open, but could not tell if anything was missing, case number 090727957.

3:00 pm unit block Phelan Ave. Grand Theft
SFCCPD Officer Bermudez responded to City College regarding a call of a theft. The victim said that he had secured his laptop and wallet in his gym locker. When he returned, the victim found his locker had been opened and the laptop and wallet missing, case number 090728228.

5:17 pm 100 block London St. Petty Theft

Officer Kabanuck responded to a call of a theft and met with the victim. The victim stated that he had placed his backpack, containing his cell phone, down on a public seat. When he returned, the victim found that his backpack had been rummaged through and his cell phone missing, case number 090728591.

Officer Ma and Officer Almaguer responded to a call of a missing adult from a residential treament facility, case number 090729624.

Arrests:

7:53 am 3400 block Cesar Chavez St. Aggravated Assault
Officer Huang and Officer Curry were on patrol when they were flagged down by a victim of an assault. The victim, who was bleeding from the face, confronted a male subject and a female subject who were sleeping under the basement stairs of the apartment complex that the victim managed. As the victim confronted the two individuals off the premise, he began taking pictures of the two. The male suspect grabbed the camera, struck the victim in the head, and threw the camera into the street. Officer Huang and Officer Curry searched the area and located the two suspects nearby. The male suspect was booked for aggravated assault, vandalism, and various outstanding warrants, case number 090730370.

2:47 pm Cora Ave. / Visitacion St. Unlicensed Driver
Officer Goff was on patrol and and saw a moving vehicle with a broken right brake light. Officer Goff effected a traffic enforcement stop and learned that the driver had an expired license. The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed, case number 090731447.

5:59 pm Leo St. / Mission St. Warrant Arrest
Officer Owens and Officer Stansbury were on patrol and spotted a moving vehicle with an obstructed rear windshield. The officers effected a traffic enforcement stop and learned that one of the passengers had an outstanding warrant. The driver was advised and the passenger was booked, case number 090732122.

6:20 pm unit block 28th St. Warrant Arrest
Officer Smith and Officer Richards responded to a call of a possible wanted person. Sergeant Paine searched the area and located the subject who was wanted for a parole violation. The subject was booked, case number 090732172.

Officer Ng responded to a call of a purse snatching and met with two victims. The two females were walking home when they were approached by two unknown black males demanding their purses. The two suspects pushed them down to the ground and punched one victim in the face. The suspects then fled with the purses, case number 090729856.

Officer Ng responded to a call of a missing person returning home unharmed, case number 090730110.

10:18 am 300 block Wilde Ave. Vandalism
Officer Muro and Officer Smethurst responded to a report of a vandalism and met with the victim. The victim returned home to her house to find paint splashed all over her house and on the sidewalk, case number 090730734.

11:45 am 700 block Edinburgh St. Theft from Vehicle

PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a victim who returned to his car and found the hubcaps missing, case number 090730922.

12:19 pm 3300 block Mission St. Shoplifting

Officer Curry and Officer Huang were flagged down regarding a shoplifter that had just fled with numerous cigarettes, case number 090731099.

7:00 pm 4400 block Mission St. Aggravated Assault
Officers Todaro and Traw responded to a call regarding a fight inside a local bar in which a bartender was hit in the head with a glass, case number 090732285.

00:49 am Highway 280 @ Ocean Warrant Arrest
Officers Ma and Obot stopped a driver who was traveling at a high rate of speed. The unlicensed driver, who also had a warrant for his arrest, was booked, case 090736384.

2:58 am Geneva Ave/Paris Unlicensed Driver
Officer McCall effected a traffic stop at the above location. The driver’s license was expired. Driver was cited and vehicle was towed, case 090736497.

4:44 pm Diamond/29th St Suspended License
While patrolling the area, Officers Campos, Ravano, and Hopkins observed a driver of a vehicle who they knew is on active felony probation. The male subject, who has a warrantless search condition, was stopped. The subject’s license was suspended, so he was cited and vehicle was towed. Case 090735314.

10:35 pm Geneva/Cayuga Suspended License
Officer McCall observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The driver had a suspended license and no proof of insurance. Driver was cited and vehicle was towed. Case 090736124.

Officer Curry prepared a vandalism report. Victim’s van was marked with a black marker, case 090734366.

6:00 pm 700 block of Foerster St Battery
Officer Chou responded to a call regarding an elderly victim being abused. A report regarding the incident was prepared, case 090735370.
