An elderly woman was robbed in her garage Wednesday night, shortly after getting out of her car at her South San Francisco home, according to police.

Officers responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery at a home in the 2700 block of Duhallow Way at around 10:30 p.m., according to the South San Francisco Police Department. A woman told police she had arrived home and was exiting her vehicle in her garage when a man attacked her and pushed her to the ground.

The suspect grabbed the woman’s purse and headed east on Duhallow Way.
The victim received minor injuries in the robbery that did not require medical attention, police reported.

Officers did not release a detailed description of the suspect, reporting only that he was a tall man in his 20s, weighing around 190 pounds and wearing dark clothes.
