ABC7 posted this (very) raw video of a sea lion spotted screwing around at Crissy. If time is of the essence, fast forward to about 1:30, to watch the pinniped head back home. It’s really quite soothing.

The recent spate of wandering sea lions has been ascribed to fluctuating ocean conditions that have impacted their food supply. However, you might still be able to watch this video without mulling that Inconvenient Truth — we spoke to the Marine Mammal Center, which said that quick forays to the beach aren’t uncommon for these guys, that we mainly need to get concerned for the lions’ health when they go further astray.
