• Appeal intern Eric Butler camped out for Air Yeezys all last week, and told us “Darkside was the only honest place, selling 16 pair @ $300,” while other stores either presold at a massive markup or “took their pairs from delivery truck to ebay/CL, hopefully it’ll come back to them somehow.” Look at how cute he looks in these pictures!
  • A friend and I were talking about this Matier and Ross item about the shrinking BART part of their cops’ uniforms over lunch today. He asked if the BART cops did this as a result of the New Year’s Day shooting (M&R say no), and we wondered if that were true, how would regular cops change their logos when they unjustly shoot someone? His response: “Police will just get bigger and bigger, until it runs actross their chest like on a sports uniform.”
  • From the Examiner: “The spot, starring a character named Tag who looks like a FasTrak device with legs and eyes…” OMG, sexpigeon, did you see this?
  • What are the standards for inclusion on the Mayor’s Public Safety blog. Because, what? I mean, it’s funny, funnier than many sites out there, but, what?
  • From Amy Graff’s Mommy Files blog: “Do you applaud her persistence to care for children from impoverished countries and to raise awareness about Africa’s children? Or does it bother you that she whisks into countries expecting to fast-track the adoption process, jumping through loopholes, spending loads of money on lawyers, and jumping ahead of others waiting in line to adopt children? ” Hmm, Amy, how about you tell us how you feel?
