Our good friend Owen Thomas (at least until Friday, then, fuck you Owen!) set us his Valleywag post on the above image, purported to have been taken “at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters in the parking lot for 5 and 6 Infinite Loop.”

Owen presents the (joking) argument that this typo is just another piece of evidence on how shit outta luck Apple is/will be without the leadership of noted perfectionist Steve Jobs, but Turn of the Century just doesn’t seem as amazingly clever as it did in ’99, so dunno about that.

But where I come from, we called this a redneck road sign. Owen, given your background in noted redneck states (pre-Obama) Illinois and Virginia, we’re surprised we have to explain this to you.
