Volunteers of all ages took to California state parks on Saturday, April 25 for the California State Parks Foundation’s 12th annual Earth Day Restoration & Cleanup. Statewide, thousands of volunteers planted native trees and plants, restored trails and wildlife habitats, repaired boardwalks and fences and cleaned up beaches. Here are some pictures from the efforts at Mt. Diablo State Park and Candlestick Point State Recreation Area.
