police-light-bar1.jpgA man was punched and kicked in the head repeatedly by a group of men in San Francisco’s Richmond District early this morning, police said.

The attack was reported at about 2 a.m. in the 5300 block of Geary Boulevard.

The 21-year-old victim was struck in the back of the head, then knocked to the ground by four men, according to police.

The suspects, believed to be in their early 20s, fled and had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for a head wound. He is expected to survive.
