Cyclist Injured After Collision With Car At 19th And Ortega
A bicyclist suffered a head injury when he was struck by a vehicle in San Francisco's Sunset District this afternoon, a fire spokeswoman said.
The accident was reported at 3:31 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Ortega Street, San Francisco fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge said.
A man riding a bike was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, Talmadge said.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Firefighters had left the scene as of 3:50 p.m., Talmadge said.
