fuckyeah.jpgBrock Keeling suggested in SFist that Tim Lincecum's now famous "Fuck Yeah!" become the new slogan for SF Giants. I agree, as I am sure many fans do as well.

However, if I am lucky enough to score tickets for the playoffs and show up with a banner, t-shirt or rally towel with "Fuck Yeah" on it, would I be booted from the ballpark?

Unfortunately, yes.

"AT&T Park is a family environment, and games are televised, so each and every ticket has 'responsibility and conduct' information about how guests should behave," a SF Giants/AT&T Park Guest Services representative told me.

"We have the right to eject a holder from the event if the holder fails to comply with applicable policies and regulations and acts in an unruly or disruptive matter." Using "foul language" counts as unruly and/or disruptive in this case.

Would a "Fuck Yeah" T-shirt wearer even get through the gates of AT&T Park? "Probably not," said Rick Mears, VP of SF Giants/AT&T Park Guest Services. "They'd be asked to cover it up or take it off, and if they refused they'd be denied entry."
