easter.jpgEaster is one of those special holidays where it really doesn’t matter what religion you are, there’s an activity for you to indulge in (read: everyone enjoys Hunky Jesus). Below are a whole list of things to do this coming Easter weekend.

SF’s Recreation and Park Department is kicking off Spring with Easter fun! This Saturday, April 23rd, RPD’s Easter Eggstravaganza will take place at Sharon Meadow in beautiful Golden Gate Park. There will be Easter egg hunts, carnival rides and inflatables, arts and crafts, and of course, entertainment. All are welcome and it’s absolutely free.

Richmond District’s YMCA also hosts a family Fun Day this Saturday from 10am-2pm. All families are invited for an hour of crafts followed by a guided tour of Mountain Lake Park. Families will be making Easter Egg baskets and bonnets at 10am, then will head to Mountain Lake Park at 11am. After the tour, there will be a picnic lunch; food is not provided however. An Easter Egg hunt at 1pm concludes the event. It’s $10 per family. For more information call (415) 666-9603 or email mroth-cramer@ymcasf.org.
