Digital music pioneer, San Franciscan, stereophile, snowboarder, foodie, and inventor, David Hyman is also the CEO and Founder of MOG, a network of thousands of music blogs. For almost three years, with David Katznelson, Hyman has produced an informative and socially enriching monthly music industry mixer called Musica Tecnomica, where David both engages and encourages growth within the digital music industry he played a major role in creating.

Prior to MOG, Hyman held various roles (CEO, Executive VP, and Chief Strategy Officer) at Gracenote, the world's largest database and music identification service.

As SVP Maketing at MTV Interactive, the digital holding company for all of MTV online properties, David oversaw all marketing activities for MTV.com and VH1.com.

With a clear fondness for music, technology, blogs and networks, Hyman is also a co-founder of one of the first online music magazines, Addicted To Noise, ultimately forging their landmark merger with SonicNet, creating the largest online music website at the time. Soon thereafter the entire package was purchased by MTV.com.

If you have consumed digital music at all over the last 15 years, you have very likely encountered David Hyman's work, born out of a deep love of music, and an unstoppable innate drive to innovate and build.
