savebigp21.pngAppeal intern Eric Butler tipped us off to tonight’s Appealing Event, Big Umbrella Studios’ cash and carry event.

An arts collective of past and present USF students, Big Umbrella Studio and Gallery is having trouble paying the bills, so tonight from 7-12, you can stop by the Studio (906 1/2 Divisadero St. at McAlister) to snatch up “new and older work by all of our member artists and some seriously ‘special’ guests” for both cheap and a decent cause.

Eric told us that if they don’t make enough at tonight’s sale, B.U.S. is doneski. Not to be all “buy this student art or we shoot the puppy” or anything. Honestly, we don’t know shit about art and are kind of OK with that. But we know this is important to Eric, and we like Eric loads, so it’s important to us.

What: Big Umbrella Studio Cash and Carry event
When: 7-12 Friday night.
Where: 906 1/2 Divisadero St. at McAlister
