Man Found Shot Dead In Car Identified
2/11 10:11 AM:A 29-year-old man was found shot dead in a car Wednesday evening in San Francisco's Bayview District, authorities said.
The victim was identified by the medical examiner as Tony Lewis.
Lewis was found in the front passenger seat of a red sedan in the 700 block of Jerrold Avenue, a public housing area in the Hunters Point neighborhood, at about 6:40 p.m., according to police.
Lewis had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made in the case.
2/10 8:12 PM: A man in his 20s was shot and killed in San Francisco's Bayview District this evening, a police spokesman said.
Officers responded to the 700 block of Jerrold Avenue at about 6:40 p.m. on reports of multiple gunshots, police Officer Boaz Mariles said.
Arriving officers found the victim dead in a vehicle, he said.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information was immediately available.
