Two Suspects Arrested, One Remains at Large in Bayview Shooting

Two suspects were arrested and two guns were recovered in San Francisco this evening after a pursuit that began near the scene of a shooting in the Bayview district, according to police.

The incident began around 6:30 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the area of Ingalls Street and Revere Avenue to follow up on a ShotSpotter alert.

“Officers responded to the scene and recovered multiple casings,” police spokeswoman Grace Gatpandan said.

Police stopped the suspect vehicle nearby in the vicinity of Keith Street and Oakdale Avenue. Three suspects attempted to flee on foot but two were eventually detained. A third suspect remains at large Gatpandan said.

No injuries were reported but a vehicle was struck by gunfire, according to Gatpandan.

Further details about the suspects and the shooting itself were not immediately available.
