Man Stabbed During Portola Robbery

A 66-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries Friday evening while being robbed at knifepoint in San Francisco’s Portola District, according to police.

The incident was reported at 7:09 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of Goettingen and Wayland streets.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with stab wounds to the wrist, abdomen and chest. He also lost his wallet and cellphone during the robbery, according to police.

The suspects were described as two men but detailed descriptions of them were not immediately available, police said.
