San Francisco police are seeking three suspects who allegedly shot a man after an attempted robbery in the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood early this morning, a police spokeswoman said.
The shooting was reported at 4:23 a.m. near Hyde and Eddy streets.
The suspects, two males and a female, tried to rob a victim but were unsuccessful, San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said.
A suspect then opened fire and hit someone else, a 45-year-old man, police said.
Gatpandan said investigators did not immediately have more information on where the victim was when he was shot. She said he was hit in the leg and is expected to survive.
The suspects fled and remain at large this morning. One of the male suspects had dreadlocks and the female suspect was possibly wearing a denim jacket, Gatpandan said.
